TIMI DAKOLO: There’s A Cry

Timi Dakolo - There is a cry

VERSE 1

There’s a cry form a young boy, in a city running wild;

There’s a cry from a mother, who just lost another child;

There’s a cry from a people, who have nothing more to lose;

Everything that they lived for, have been wasted and abused.

[CHORUS:]

There’s a cry from a river, that has nowhere to flow;

And the pride of the river was lost so long ago;

And that cry is for a reason, that only heaven knows;

Where did they go wrong, how can we go on;

Only hope remains the answer.

ASA: Jailer

Asa - Jailer

VERSE 1

I’m in chains you’re in chains too
I wear uniforms and you wear uniforms too
I’m a prisoner,
You’re a prisoner too Mr Jailer

I have fears you have fears too
I will die, you sef go die too
Life is beautiful
Don’t you think so too Mr Jailer

[CHORUS:]
I’m talking to you jailer
Stop calling me a prisoner
Let he who is without sin –
Be the first to cast the stone Mr Jailer, Mr Jailer Man

COBHAMS ASUQUO: I Still Choose To Worship You

Cobhams Asuquo - I Still Choose To Worship You

I still choose to worship you

Have you read the papers, do you hear what they say?

Rising unemployment, cost of living everyday is getting high

Another suicide bomber in a bus with thirty kids,

It kinda makes me wonder what those children ever did yet we still go to church and sing shout to the Lord and we lift up holy hands and we’re reading his word now I am sitting by my piano with nothing to play but that doesn’t change the fact that God is God anyway

So I sing bless ye the Lord through my trials and all my troubles, I have come with a heart of worship for the gift of your son, for the grace to fight my battles I have come to you with thanksgiving hear my broken cry, see my broken spirit but in every situation, I’ll still choose to worship you.
